Artist Statement:
Art is mixing all
the elements to create something that touches the heart.
Mixing water and paint to achieve the best emotional response is
exciting for me.
Creative Process:
I paint in many
subjects. When I see an image that interests me, first I look
and try to figure out why I want to paint this image. Then I
paint using exciting colors, good composition, texture and the
technique that best gets my objective across.
Watching watercolor
paints mix with water and vibrant color mix into each other is
exciting to me. Sometimes I pour paint, most I use a brush; I use a
variety of techniques to make a statement.
Artist Biography:
My interest in art
started at a very young age. I took art classes in both high
school and college. I have taken lessons and workshops in
drawing, oil, and watercolor. I am a self-taught artist who
paints many subjects that include landscapes, flowers, people and
animals. I love to paint watercolors because I can create
something that is spontaneous, direct and transparent.
